I got out on the lake a little before noon and fished till 6:30. The lake is really starting to weed up, lots of new lilly growth on the south side and I had trouble recognizing spots I fished two weeks ago. It was a beautifull day, started out in the reeds in the middle of the lake and hooked a nice large mouth with a pink flying lure. He was a bit under three pounds and in great condition a beautifull fish.

I proceeded to the north side of the lake and fished as much of the shoreline as I could with no success. Heard many splashes back in the reeds, but I was unable to hook anything. I did see one small bass follow my gear back in.
