Made our first trip to Silver for crappie yesterday and did quite well. We launched at about 6:00pm and fished until 9:00. The action was very consistent and continuous in our regular "spots". We probably caught 40 (and a couple bluegills that went back) while we were on the water, most were undersized, but 6 went in the cooler. Of the keepers, the biggest was probably 10 1/2" and the rest over 9" but under 10". The weather was nice and we had the lake almost entirely to ourselves - only one other boat that launched right after we did and a couple of small boats from places on the lake.
Remember, 9" minimum on this lake and the limit's only 10! :-)
