This report is actually for Silver's little brother, North Silver, just across the road. I've been wanting to fish it for awhile but wanted it's recently planted rainbows to get some size. The trail past the gate is now thick with grass, brush and trees so be prepared! Bring a tube instead of pontoon boat if you have one. The lake itself is also beginning to choke up except for the few deeper areas. Most water is less than 5 feet. Hopefully it won't suffer another die-off like last year. Anyways, could only fish for an hour and a half due to rapidly approaching rain and storm but managed 8 hook-ups and 4 landed rainbows. Fish were small, 12-14". Black buggers and carey specials worked for me today.
