After getting skunked at Fenwick I headed over to Meridian. Public doc and boat launch area were packed but mangaged to find a little room. Very sunny and pretty warm. Used rooster tails, wedding rings, bobber w/maggots and off the bottom with power bait with no luck. Might have had a small nibble when using the bobber and maggot combo but if it was I didn't land anything and it never came back. Saw the bald eagle, flew right over me. WOW is it big. A lot of boats and swimmers. Like with Fenwick, you probably have to have a boat to get down deep where the cool water is and where the fish can hide from the birds. Early morning is probably your best bet for either trout or bass.
