Went out with my 5 year old son, my brother and his two boys 5 and 6 years old on our "boys only" camping/fishing trip. My first time here, all I can say is it's a good thing I wasn't looking for scenery but rather spending quality time with family. Thanks to that notion I wasn't disappointed. We fished most of the day Saturday off of the bank, and our combined fish total was 11 fish. What we didn't get in quantity we definitely got in quality. 3 fish at 2 lbs or over on the digital scale with the largest at 2 lbs 5 ozs and not a single fish under 16". Sunday was a different story. Couldn't hook anything over 10"s. Well at least they didn't, I didn't hook a single fish all weekend. Didn't matter though, had the best time ever and some great memories watching the boys hook into some really quality fish. The smiles on their faces did it for me.
