A friend and I fished the lake from about 3 to 5:30 pm. We started off trolling wedding rings and did pretty well catching about three 8-11 inch rainbows each. After a dry spell (at about 4 pm) we fished nightcrawlers from bobbers with good success, finishing off our 5 fish limits. If you want some quick fishing action try getting a small craft out onto Plummer's soon.

An interesting side-note is the trails that are usually open on the westside of the lake are closed. The gate at which bank anglers can get to them has remained locked so far this season, so all bank angling has to be done from Brick Wagner Park on the northside of the lake.
