Went bass fishing on Clear lake today from 9am to 3pm. Bright and sunny, warm to, about 70 degrees. Wind was out of the Northeast about 5-15mph. Did not catch any bass, but saw eight cruising the shallows, one of which was the biggest bass I have ever seen in Washington State!! HUGE!! Also spotted what had to be a 8lb bright orange goldfish over where the creek dumps in by the docks in the NE corner?? Where it came from I have no idea, but it was huge! There were tons of folks trout fishing, I only saw one fish caught. Wish people would stop parking on the boat launch, past the "No Parking" sign....next time I'm taking license plate #'s for the Sheriff's Dept. It's ridiculous! Water temps were 52.5 @ 9am, and rose to 56 degrees by the time I left. Will definately be back next week!
