Went fishing at Meridian today. Started around 8am. Tryed trolling pop gear, only one bite. Started fishing for bass and noticed a lot of trout in one area. Threw on some power bait and got 3 trips. Picked up my mom and she caught 3 from the same spot, and me 2 more. 8 nice trout total. One was 12 inchs, biggest maybe 16-17, all looked like triploids. Some boats on the shore were talking about the fishing, didn't seem like they caught much. They were 'wondering' where the triploids were. He said deeper 60 feet of water lol, we got all ours in 10-12 feet and many more seen. Have fun.
