Beautiful day on the big lake. Fished the shallows near the mouth of the Cedar with basic setup and your garden variety earthworm (my garden to be exact). I know there is a lot to be said for the myriad tackle at our disposal... I have several tackle boxes full... but I was just out in my kayak having a little fun. I reeled in two fat little trout in about 20 minutes before stashing the gear and exploring up the river. It was way too easy... I will plan to spend more time fishing on my next trip... and yes... more worms will be sacrificed. Good luck to all.
