Dropped a line in about 1/4 mile west of Tum Tum. I had a lot of bites at about 20 yards from shore, but didn't catch anything. Put on more weight and cast out to 40 yards and had action right away. Caught something, not exactly sure what it was... a Whitefish I think. Threw it back in, lost my balanace, and went in after it. Considering how cold it was, I packed it up and went home. There is always SOMETHING to catch from shore here. Bass, Trout, Whitefish, colds... you name it.
