Went to Lake Morton today for about 3.5 hours. Fished around the numerous docks on the lake. Only got one bite, a 4.3 lb Largemouth bass on a jig and craw. Thanks to the homeowner who saw me battling her and snapped a few pics for me. Fish was released to spawn and hopefully be caught another day by me :) Water temp was 53. If you catch bass, Please release them so they can spawn. It's a very important time of the year for the fish and their chance to reproduce.
