I learned how to fish on this lake many years ago with my dad and brother so it has been a while, but it sure brought back some memories. The lake is being taken over by milfoil which was kind of sad.
Two of us fished it on Sunday. We started at 6:30am trolling pop gear, one with a nightcrawler and weight (up to 1/2 ounce) and the other with a wedding ring tipped with a crawler. Both setups caught fish. We were getting hits every 5 minutes. We lost more the 6 when they jumped.
We managed to get 5 into the boat of which we kept three of them. They ranged from 8"-12", silvers and rainbows.
From the boat launch we went across the lake and to the right of the big dock.
We got a lot of action every time we turned and when we went down the middle of the lake . There are still plenty of fish as they were jumping all around us. There were maybe ten other boats, some trolling and some bottom fishing. Of course, we seemed to be the hot boat.
Good Luck...
