I read earlier in the day that they planted 400 trout in the family fishing pond, so I took the afternoon off and took my two girls fishing. When we arrived all of the poles were tangled but one. My youngest daughter Kayla (5) got her pole in the water first. Before I could start working on my oldest daughters pool Kayla had a nice 16" trout. We landed it and proceeded to do the same thing, and before you know it Kayla had another trout on. Finally I got Jessica's (7) pole rigged up and she started catching nice fish. Her largest was 18". All together we caught 12 14+" trout, and lost 5 or so others. Sure great taking a kid fishing. Beats work anyday.
