With the sunny weather in the morning, I decided to take my boat out for the first time this year. But just as I got into the lake, it clouds up, gets cold, and a little windy. I stayed out though, thinking the trout would be biting. I was wrong. I trolled Flatfishes, spinners, spoons, bait, Hot shots, basically everything. I
also stillfished, but not a bite. After a few hours I called it quits and headed in. A few guys were out on the dock, but apparently they weren't catching aything either. I would not plan on trying for trout yet, unless it gets warmer (or you know more than me). The only thing you'll catch is a cold.
