Jason and his friend Rusty ventured over to Lenore late Friday night and fished on Saturday morning. There were a fair number of other anglers there and it was generally slow. Rusty took one rainbow of about 23-24 inches on an olive damsel nymph. Jason said that there were "tons" of midges on the surface, but no surface feeding that he could see. There were a lot of very large cruising trout that were visible, but not interested in the Chironomid offerings of most fly fishers.
Jason and Rusty stopped by Rocky Ford Creek while over there and caught a couple of fish near the handicapped deck.
