Fished Lake Lenore last week. The weather was cool even though the sun was shining. The Lahottans were not in a cooperative mood. After three hours of fishing, I hooked one large cut-throat on a #12 chocolate, v-rib chironomid. I saw a few other fish hooked on various flies ranging from bead-head zug-bugs to leach patterns. I decided to head to Rocky Ford Creek and had much better luck and was surprised to see the crowds had died down. Good Luck.
