On the 6th of June, a friend and I went fishing on Mineral lake. We
fished from a small pontoon boat and tried different spots throughout the lake. We tried all sorts of bait and lures (to include different types of Power Bait, night crawlers, salmon eggs, etc.), and we fished both the bottom and varying levels.

NO LUCK!!!!

Contrary to various reports by word of mouth and from reports cited in the "Fishing & Hunting News" Washington State version. It almost looks
like the trout (and all other fish) are either so spooked they won't
come near a lure or bait "or" they (the avid fisherman) have fished them out. Catch and release, my aunt fanny....I haven't seen much of that going on lately either. Most people seem to be doing the former only!

P.S. I am almost to the point of being suspicious as to the reports
listed in the Fishing and Hunting News...maybe the fellow who rents and boats (and docks) at Mineral Lake paid someone to "suggest" Mineral Lake as being a "hot spot"!!!!
