Well for the second time this year I went to the lake
of the big browns. Hoping to fill the boat with monster
fish big enough to swallow your head, I arrived earlier
than most (about 6am). I put the boat in and away we went,
hoping to hook into "the great trout". After covering
the entire lake and all my best holes, all we could show
was a small trout that was barely enough to feed a cat.

We were using a fishfinder the whole time and only picked
up a few fish the whole time out (6hours). Others in the area
were not having any more luck. At the end of the day at the dock
everyone was coming in short. This was the second time this year
to Mineral lake and only 2 fish to show for it. Will I be back, Yes
I know that big one is there but, I'm a fisherman or a dummy.
Either way I can't give up and besides the worst day of fishing is
better than the best day of work.

But I would at least like to catch a fish that would
show up on a photo and people not ask "what kind of bait is that?
