A friend & I went to Clear Lake today 7/16/98 and got a real nice Northwest sunburn! Our sunscreen 30 wasn't a match for the hot 80+ day with just a little breeze. With all the noise from the resort with the kids swimming & all, you could hardly hear anyone yell, "Fish on!" Or, maybe it's because the fish we were catching were VERY small kokes & rainbows. We both caught two in three hours but talked to & saw others catching keepers. (Hopefully
not stompers, those fish you have to stomp on to get to the right length)
Anyway, we decided to try another lake for the afternoon. See the Ohop reports for our afternoon trip.
