Blythe lake surface temp was in low 50's and it has good weed growth on bottom, with two well defined deep areas at each end of lake and a large shallow in the middle. I marked quite a few fish holding near a ridge that extends from island (visible from launch) to north-east shore of lake. The ridge comes up from 40'-50' depths to about 17' and has a fairly sharp top. The fish seemed to be hanging in the 15' to 20' range around this top. There's a faily good trail from SE shore of Blythe down to chukar lake. There was one party that had taken inflatables down to Chukar. Not sure how they did though.
I didn't catch anything and didn't notice anyone with throbbing poles. However, there was some sort of small mayfly hatching so there is certainly food available for whatever is swimming around down there.
