My cousin and I went to Seward Park at about 6:00 am and the weather was very cloudy and pretty chilly. We fished over by the lily pads close to the bathing beach but didn't catch anything. Then we went to a different place where one other guy was fishing. He left with a bucket full of yellow perch and one punkinseed sunfish. My cousin and I fished from 6:00 to 10:00 using worms and only left with 2 perch. It was fun but I lost several hooks and sinkers due to hard hook sets, but I did had a lot of fun and hopefully I'll have better luck next time.
By the way, the perch tasted pretty darn good.
