I arrived early Saturday morning at about 8:30. The weather was threatening rain, the wind was about 5mph NW and the water was 69 degrees. The visibility was down to 5 - 6 feet.
We tried jigs and spinners for about 2 hours around the South end by the pads and over on the southeast bank without success. Then one of us used a nightcrawler on a weighted line and started to catch Yellow Perch. We ended the day at 4:00p with 1 ½ dozen perch and one catfish. It was a very relaxing day.
