Went down to the point off Marymoor where there's a small float. Used a crappie jig and managed to get a few smallies to go after it but not bite. Put on a rooster tail and casted out into the lillipads. To my amazement I instantly hooked a large fish. As I reeled it in I noticed I had a spawning sockeye salmon hooked in the gills. Not wanting to catch the fish I gave a swift yank and forced the hook out. I gave up and left.

P.S. Does anyone know a good place in Lake Sammamish to fish off the shore. This place in Marymoor had almost no access to trout/bass and I'd like to catch something edible. If you do please post a follow up in the forum, it would be most appreciated.
