We had a great time fishing for Kokes on Sullivan lake June 24th and 25th. We fished with leaded line pulling a banana sinker, a lake troll, and a rubber snubber followed by 12 to 18 inches of leader and a Wedding Ring spinner tipped with a maggot. This isn't my favorite kind of fishing, pulling all of this hardware around, but somehow easy limits of good eating fish makes it worthwhile. The leaded line seemed necessary to get the spinner down to the 35 to 40 foot level where we caught the fish. We fished the North end of the lake near the landing strip and campground and along the Northwest shore. We also caught a few fish along the Northeast shore in the short time that we fished there. It made for a terrific weekend, that's for sure.
