We fished off the northwest corner of the island, in varying depths, and caught thirty fish in less than four hours, practicing catch and release, of course. We were trolling as slow as the kicker would idle, dragging pop gear, and using triple teasers. Orange, lime green, and chrome all worked well. We found the fish by letting out the minimum amount of line to keep the pop gear under the surface, and then let out an additional fifteen feet of line. The largest we caught was a 13" Kokanee, and most were in the 11" range, though mostly rainbows. What we did will always work at that lake, but as the water gets warmer, the fish will move closer to the shoreline at the northwest corner of the lake. It's a great place to take a novice fishing, because the fish in there are THICK.
