I always have fun at this lake, its so quite remote and serene. But the fishing here in off and on. Petit has some nice cutts but do to a healthy supply of over fishing this lake isn't as good as it used to be, and Yocum Lake is the same way. There was a time when a 20 inch cutt was very common, but now do to people catching more than their 5 fish per day a good sized cutt is around 8 inches. I have fly fished with a #14 hook and pick your own weapon, but have had also good luck with worms and corn.
One other thing the elevation here is around 4500 feet, and there is alot of grizzlys and black bears in the area, so Pack it in Pack it out!
