The Twin Lakes (the ones at exit 206 on I-5) were producing
rainbows almost immediately after they stocked the lake. A few weeks after the stocking, the fishing slooowwwed down. Almost everyone who fishes at Twin Lakes tries the south lake. I fished the NORTH lake today and caught two rainbows. One was definitely a holdover, it was almost three pounds on
my little scale. The other was very small but put up a good fight. I think all the fish moved over to the north lake due to all the water traffic on the south lake such as canoes, rowboats, rafts, and float tubers. So be a rebel and try the north lake!
