There is no general public access for Jim Creek due to current
threat condition, but for you active duty and retired military folks (and guests) Twin Lakes is pretty hot. I fished in the wind and rain Sunday June 6 on the upper lake. Caught and released a couple of small cutthroat and a couple of 10" rainbows casting size 0 Mepps spinners close to cover and lily pads on the south end of the lake. Caught a 17" rainbow and two 12" on orange and green powerbait by the lily pads on the east side.

The previous weekend I caught a 15 inch rainbow and saw a couple of 18 inchers brought in, all on powerbait close to the bottom. My experience has been they like orange or green floresent power bait in the morning, and really go for red, white, and blue in the afternoon. Have caught rainbows casting spinners with and without skirts, caught several casting a little silver flatfish, and saw trollers catching quite a few. So whatever method you prefer give Twin Lakes a shot, should be a good time.
