My wife, 5 and 8 year old boys, and I camped Friday and Saturday. We fished as much as attention spans and other activities allowed. The weather was nice, with slight overcast on Saturday. We caught rainbow trout to 14", most 12", perch to 11", and a large mouth bass. Action was medium slow, but consistant. We kept 10 trout, 10 perch, and the bass, with an equal number of fish that threw the lure or that we released. We trolled two leaded lines, dead slow, with F-5 Flatfish in Frog or Perch patterns (my only two remaining dark Flatfish.) Early on, I tried "bright" colored Needle Fish, Flatfish, Triple Teasers, dodger combinations, etc., with little luck. People that we spoke to that were still-fishing did not seem to be as successful as those that were trolling. The north end of the west side produced the most trout, and perch were available everywhere else. This trip makes up for three the attempts at Sammamish and one at Pine this year that netted one 6" Perch.
