I took my 2 daughters over to Fish Lk this weekend after hearing from a co-worker about how they knocked em dead over Memorial weekend. Beautiful calm weather both days and about 80 on Sat. and 85 Sun. First time fishing there and not fighting the wind! Water temp. on Sat. was 57 and 61 on Sun. Made it out on the water about 9am Sat. trolling a home made spinner and my 7 yr old had a fish on in about 30 seconds. We caught and released about 15 small bows 8-11 inches in 2 hrs or so. Sunday was another glass day on the lake and much warmer out. We trolled about 2 hrs and only caught 2. There was a large hatch of black flying ants and the fish were going nuts slurping them off
the surface. Lots of smallish bows, so I was disappointed with the size but my girls aren't too picky, so we had a great time. I heard someone shout out that they caught a 18.5 inch brown from the dock at Cascade Hideaway, so there was one decent one caught. Again I was disgusted with all the garbage left by previous
campers on the North side of the lake. It's beyond me how these people can leave a mess and not be bothered by it????
