I went down to Klineline at about 9:30 am and fished until about 11:00 am. I normally don't go to this pond because there are usually too many anglers (I'm not really big on elbow-to-elbow fishing), and it's right in the middle of town. Being that I have to work today at 3:00 pm, I decided to give it a try. I fished
from the first platform (there are two of them), using 4 feet of 4lb leader, 1/2 oz egg weight, size 6 hook, and pink Powerbait eggs. In the 1/2 hours that I was there, I caught 10 good sized trout. My mother came along with me, and using the same set-up as I, she nailed 4 of them. I kept the biggest ones and let the smaller ones go. This pond is good for quick, easy fishing. There will usually
be a lot of competition, but not always. I normally go further away, where the scenery is nicer, and where there are less people though.
