Arrived at battleground lake at 11:00 am Saturday. Apparently I missed the 10:00 bite. People were leaving with limits of nice sized rainbows. I fished with a moderate sized crowed both around and floating in the small lake. I saw just a few caught while I was there and only managed a few bites and 1 fish myself. I left after an hour and a half and came back around 5. Again, people were leaving with stringers full and I missed the
bite. Apparently the fish turn on at around 9am - 10am and again at around 2pm - 3pm (the same time they used to get fed at the Hatchery...). Powerbait was working for those with limits. I also saw many steelhead jumping but none being caught.
