After getting zilch in Upper Caliche we headed over to Warden Lk. It was sunny and warmer there, so at least the weather was looking better. There were only 4 boats on the water and about 4 people fishing the shore. Only one person had a fish that we checked. He had been fishing about 4 hrs, so wasn't looking good. We fished marshmallow and worm for about a hour with no bites. A boat on the lake yelled out they got their first fish after fishing since 8:30am...it was now 3pm!....After hearing this we packed up and walked into one of the walk-in lakes south of Warden. Fishing there for a hour resulted in 2 tiny 6 inch bows....I would wait a few weeks for the waters to warm up over there.
