Hit the water around 7am. It was cold and breezy. The wind can be very bad on this lake, it doesn't take much to churn up a froth. Fished for 20 minutes until I had my first fish, a nice 16" rainbow. Caught it on a dick nite spoon. That was just the start. I caught 5 very nice fish, all over 16" and I caught each one on different lures. I was off the lake by 10am.The lures I caught fish with were dick nite, skinny minny, super duper, seps spoon, and a blue fox minnow. When fishing this lake, it is best to use some kind of bait on your lure as the fish don't bite as hard on a bare lure and they are hard to keep hooked, lost 3 nice fish before I tried bait on the lure. Oh, watch out for people in motor boats on this lake, as I left the boat landing and got out into open water, a guy with the bow of his 14 footer so high in the air, almost ran me over. Had to scream at the guy before he stopped. Dude came within 30 feet of hitting me. A lot of the people who fish this lake of 186 acres with big boats and they seem to really like to go fast, so be careful. They need a 5 mph speed limit on this lake. Happy fishing!!!!!
