I arrived at Halfmoon about 2:30 p.m. after a stint at my "Secret" lake (see report). I heard there were Cutthroat in there but all I took were little Brookies. Caught 'em all on a green Carey special or a prince nymph (gee, those are the only flies you'd think I had this weekend). I must have caught 20-25 of the little devils within a couple hours. I also hooked into a couple small Rainbow? Never saw any Cutthroat, but I did have some stronger hits when I fished really deep (20-25 feet). I'll be back to seek out those Cutties!
