Spent 2 days this weekend fishing the Potholes (which is very high with water right now). Concentrated on the large trout and caught several 18 to 20 inchers the first day (Saturday), most effective for them was a simple bobber and worm 4 feet below it cast 20 feet or so from shore. The second day my wife and I worked the largemouths by tossing tube baits with attractant 30 feet out and then walking them up the bank. Caught 3 2.5 and 1 4 pounder in 2 hours. Overall the Potholes are producing but tough to figure out because the water is very high.
