We started fishing around the noon hour, just off the south tip of
Mercer Island. We were trolling for Trout using down riggers equipped with, wedding rings, pop gear, and a worm. for the first hour or so the water was so rough due to the high winds that we sought after any possible wind barrier. we found that around the Boeing plant and continued trolling as we reached the Coulon park area we started getting hits. Nice Rainbow trout 26" long and about 5 lbs. we snapped the pictures and released the fish to be
caught another day. it was cold and windy no rain but the action was better in the late afternoon than earlier in the day.
