After 8 hours of fishing, a couple more hours wouldn't hurt. I
fished the standing docks at Lake Washington's Marsh Island through sun-down. I used a bobber-jig combo and retrieved VERY slowly, so the bobber was not creating too much of a wake and finally landed a 14" mountain whitefish.
For those of us poor young fisherman w/o a trolling engine and decent set-up, fishing Lake Washington can be very trying. It felt good to land a decent fish. This one piece of inspiration is just enough to make me frequent this local lake enough to most likely drive me to insanity for the upcoming year. Thank God for Lake Washington! It will death of me!
