We got our lines in the water about 7AM south of I-90 toward the
east end. At 7:09 I caught the first Sockeye, about a 5 pounder. Richard and I thought "ALL RIGHT" we'll have our limit in half an hour. At 10:21 Richard caught a Sockeye about the same size. He had to get to work by 12 noon so we started back to the ramp.
We were using Les Davis Flashers modified with some rainbow stick on plastic film about half the length of the flasher and about 1 inch wide stuck to the middle of one side of the flasher. We used approx 16" of 12lb. mono and a black #2 hook.
We will both have a good dinner tonight.
