Today, two of my cousins and I went to the arboretum at about 8:30am. When we arrived the weather was hella nasty. It was windy and kinda cold. We started off fishing on the first bridge by the entrance. We did not have bites at all. So we walked another 10 minutes and fished the second bridge. By the time we got there, the wind died and I was astonished to see big huge bass jumping around by the lilly pads. I started fishing with a crankbait, but unfortunately I did not even get a nibble. So I switched to perch fishing and found that it was amazingly good. We ended the day with a stringer full of yellow perch and 2 other fish called "chub". The perch were pretty good size and we caught a few in the 8-10" range.
