My boyfriend and I arrived at Otter Lake around 4pm and fished from our boat with Kastmasters and eventually power bait until 7pm. We left without even a bite, and no one around us had felt anything either. This lake is relatively peaceful and quiet (partially developed, but not a popular recreation spot, it seems) and has a stunning view of Mt. Rainier. It's a pleasant place, so we may try again sometime at another time of day.
