Started out fishing around 8 am. By the time my buddy Ryan and I had just started to get out lines out in the water is started to rain.
Started fishing off the orange floats about 40 yards off the bank near the boat launch. No sooner had I turned on the fish finder we both had fish on the line. It rained on and off the whole time we were out there. Caught our limit in less than 3 hours. All the fish looked to have been the stock system breed. All measured around 8-10 inches. Caught 2 that were in the 14-16 inch range. Good lake to take the kids to and have a blast as long as you have a boat. Seen one guy have a large rainbow right next to the boat in the 24 inch range and threw the hook back at him at the boat. Bummer! Used a small set-up consisting of small pop gear and a worm harness. Seemed to get there attention a little better with a whole worm on the line. All the keepers are in the 20 ft. and below range of water. Great lake to go to but be off by the time the water skiers and jet skies come out.
