I put in my kayak about 5:30 p.m.. I trolled with pink power bait and pop gear for about an hour without any success. During this time the only action I witnessed was about a 13 inch bass caught by a boat trolling with night crawlers and pop gear. They caught the fish in the middle part of the lake on the northside near a fallen tree. After using the pop gear with no success I switched to wedding ring with about 8 inch leader and caught a 12 inch cutthroat about at the same place as the other anglers caught their bass. This was the only action I had all day.
