I fished hard for 3 days. Very few trout in lake and very hard to catch.
We fished the whole lake and scanned it with sonar. All the trout are located from the bridge to the public launch.
At the far end of the lake I caught a white fish, the main food supply for the Tiger Muskies.
I caught it on a spin fly trolling through the 45 foot deep channel at the end of the lake .That channel in just loaded with fish stacked up in there 3.
I think they must be Muskies or white fish. Although we saw a 15inch trout caught by still fisherman anchored at the little pond at the end of the channel.
We hooked into 2 nice trout trolling by the bridge at the marina end of the lake. We trolled with 1oz.led,flashers and a wedding ring tipped with worm.
The new camp grounds at the marina. The new slips and new launch are just as nice as the camping spots with new showers and bathrooms. Lots of tiger muskies can be seen in the little inlet by the marina but won't bite.
Have a good time if you don't like to catch many fish.
