Me and my cousin launched around 1:00 pm and motored over to the far left end of the lake into the flat cove. Little action there. After seeing a few small ones, we put on Rapalas and hit the deep spots at the mouth of the cove. We each nailed a few 8-10 inch bass. Plastics sizes 5-7 accounted for some nice rock bass. After that, we hit another small cove and landed an 8 pound largemouth on a 5in rattlesnake worm. The hog hit and took several runs on my 6lb. test line before we boated it and took a picture before releasing. We lost s 4-5 lb. bass on a banjo minnow near the island. More rock bass around the island.
