Slightly overcast day arrived at Eriksons about 10:00 am only two other boat renters on the lake. I was with my fishing buddy talking with the rental person about the recent shocking of the lake. We were told how so many Largemouth Bass over 10 lbs. were accounted during the shock treatment. They must of been still in Shock cause we couldn't lip one not even a rock bass. Now that was rare, I've fished this lake about a dozen times a year and always caught rockbass when nothing else was hitting. The rental person also mentioned how hermits or illegal aliens were discovered on the Champion property setting up like a poaching fish factory drying out tons of fish from guppys to broodys. We were told they were netting and spearfishing mostly at night of course. We were outraged over this report! They closed the public boat launch and posted keep out signs on this secluded lake but yet these scavengers still invade, abuse, and take illegally. This must be stopped now!
