Fished for a couple hours on the small dock. Saw a couple people out on the lake in boats, but no one was getting much action. Caught a few small perch, and a couple sunfish. I noticed a lot of bullfrogs croaking, and a few of them went after my bobber. Switched to a floating frog thinking maybe some bass were hanging around looking for a small one. Hooked a 4 1/2 pounder right from the dock on my second cast. Unfortunately, I hooked the frog on a reed and spent the rest of the time retrieving it. Still, for a 4 1/2 pounder, it was worth the trouble and wait.
