My and my friend went fishing at Lake Stickney today. Water temp. was 72 degrees, and it was sunny. We fished the pad edges about 200 feet to the right of the boat launch with red and white crappie jigs on a 1/16 ounce white lead head tipped with a worm, and caught 3 perch, all about 11 to 12 inches, 4 pumpkinseeds ranging from 2 to 8 inches, and one 10 inch crappie. Also saw a bullhead about 11 inches long under the boat, 2 bass about 6 pounds each spawning, and several kokanee, cutthroats and rainbows jumping. Also saw 2 other guys catch a few crappie and perch. This was my first time fishing this lake, but it definitely wont be my last.
