This was the first time I fished this lake. I floated the lake and started off (at about 10Am) with a olive green wooly bugger and trolled the south end of the lake. I continued to just off the SW point. After talking with a fellow angler, I took his advice and switched to a black wooly bugger and continued down the East shore where I hooked up with a 2 1/2 pound smallmouth bass. It put up a good fight. Trout fishing is supposedly better 6-9AM.
