My fishing buddy and I put the boat in at the Nahwatzel public ramp and trolled around the lake for two hours. We used all the standard lures with out a hit. Decided to try still fishing over at the old RR pilings. Fished for an hour with out any action. We noticed three other boats fishing the lake, none reported any action.
On returning to the boat ramp, one bank fishermen had one fish about 10 inches.
Our fish finder didn't show a great deal of fish. I'm not sure when the last time Nahwatzel had been planted.
We'll try again when the water is a little warmer.
